This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from fornormy.com (the “Site”).

  1. Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information including credit card numbers, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Shopify Pay information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”. 

“Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy means both Device Information and Order Information.

  1. How we use your information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: 

  • Communicate with you

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. 

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). 

From time to time, we implement the following:

  • Google Display Network Impression Reporting 

  • Demographics and Interests Reporting 

  • DoubleClick Platform Integration 

  • Advertising or Remarketing with Facebook Advertising 

  • Advertising or Remarketing with Facebook Advertising on Instagram 

  1. Sharing your personal information

We use third-party service providers, including Klaviyo, to manage and deliver our email marketing campaigns. These providers process your personal information on our behalf in order to send you marketing communications, consistent with your preferences. You may opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in our emails.

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Under Canadian law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction: If your personal information is inaccurate, you may request corrections.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent to use your personal information at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on consent before withdrawal.

  • Opt-Out of Marketing: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails, SMS messages, or by contacting us directly.

  • Complaint: If you have concerns about our privacy practices, please contact us directly and we will work diligently to promptly address your concerns. Under federal law you also have the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

There may be situations where we cannot grant your request — for example, if you ask us to delete your transaction data, we are legally obligated to keep a record of that transaction to comply with the  law. We may also decline to grant a request when  doing so would undermine our legitimate use of data for anti-fraud and security purposes, such as when you request deletion of an account being investigated for security concerns. Other reasons your privacy request may be denied are if it jeopardizes the privacy of others, is frivolous or vexatious, or would be highly impractical or unreasonable. 

  1. Data retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

  1. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. 

  1. Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your state or province) and we do not specifically market to anyone under the age of 18.
